September 16, 2024 – Right For Me

***This was last week’s podcast. It published on Castbox and all the usual platforms but I am having a technical problem with Castbox. I have an open ticket, but for now, I cannot copy the code from my host to my site and sync everything as I normally do. I may temporarily move podcasts to later in the week so I can use one of the other players while I sort out the technical issues. Bear with me as things are getting back to a more normal schedule,***

I hit on a lot of different subjects today. This is probably a topic that could have gone on for several more hours. I kept thinking of additional things and different applicable examples that fit in with what I was trying to say. I found that I got results that I didn’t expect both negatively and positively. But, I wouldn’t have known if I didn’t try different things.

September 3, 2024 – If Not Me, Then Who?

Today is a look at political polarization, some of the reasons and if there is anything that can be done about it. Before we get caught in the trap that polarization is somebody else’s problem to solve, we need to think about our role and what we can do about it.

August 26, 2024 – Reboot

I am back after taking a couple weeks off. Following my last podcast, I decided to spend my time off evaluating changes that I want to make. Tune in today to find out what those changes are. Hopefully, you will find this a better overall experience.

August 12, 2024 – From the Heart

Perspective is always valuable. It is really hard to get perspective alone unless you have a mirror or a camera to see what you are doing. In order for me to get it, I need to get some air, maybe even get out of the pool and watch my video using a swimming analogy. I am not going to spoil the podcast, but I do a little self analysis today. You may be surprised at what I am thinking.

August 5, 2024 – True Humanity

If you want to see a true and honest slice of humanity, there are a couple of places that I would recommend. You will have to listen to find out, but I reveal pretty early on. We all like to put on heirs about how good and nice we are but there are places where the charade is revealed.

July 29, 2024 – Sweet, Sweet Summer

Sometimes the gloom and doom gets too much. As much as the news is ripe with topics to spawn plenty of opinion talk, I choose to leave it alone as it doesn’t age well. Today I relive memories about why I look forward to summer. You don’t have to identify with my experiences but allow yourself to go into those good times of the past. This has been far from my favorite summer but based on the track record, it is bound to be good again.

July 22, 2024 – Summer Stew

Listen if you want to hear all of my excuses and woes. This is a hodgepodge of different, timely topics mostly because I couldn’t come up with something better. In all seriousness, my primary focus is on my family and healing so I hope that you can understand my position. But, the show is going on.

July 15, 2024 – Supreme Court 2024 Top 10

Today I am giving a rundown of the decisions made at the Supreme Court level for the 2023 – 2024 session. A few of them that I care the most about I spend significant amounts of time. In a very minute way, the balance was tipped back to the way it should be. And that is freedom for the people and states rights outside of what is specified in the Constitution.

*Correction 1: I stated that bump stocks turn a rifle into a shotgun. That is incorrect and I meant to say a rifle into an automatic rifle.

*Correction 2: When referring to the 1986 National Firearms Act, I said that all manufacturing of firearms was banned from that point forward. I meant to say that all new automatic firearms were banned.

July 8, 2024 – In the Middle

What do you think about when you hear the term ‘Middle Manager’? I will bet that the gut reaction is not positive. Admittedly, mine isn’t either. I am going to try and convince you differently. Let’s see how I did.

July 1, 2024 – Let Freedom Ring

I feel like we like to celebrate freedom that we don’t ever exercise or maybe not even believe in. This is a seasonal discussion that links the principles of freedom with the milestone events of the period namely graduation and the Fourth of July. Join me as I discuss what my graduation speech would be like and why I will never give one and how that relates to the founders.
